First of all, don't worry, I'm a loving, good, responsible mom. I WILL definately take my son to the Doctor if need be. Question - last week he missed 2 days of school because he had a fever and a little bit of a sore neck, fever around 100 to 101. Then he got better and went to school for the rest of the week. Now, he wakes up this morning with another fever of 101.6. He stayed home from school today, (with my older son who didn't feel great either). When I get home from work, he's hot again. Childrens Motrin has always worked great for him as far as fever and making him feel better. But this afternoon, it didn't help much. He was still hot so I had him take a cool shower thinking that would help. It didn't. His fever is now 100.1. If he hadn't taken the shower I'm sure it would be higher. What could cause this weekly fever - coming and going? Any thoughts? Like I said, I will take him to the Dr if fever isn't better by tomorrow. HELP! I love my little Buddy.
