My diagnosis is what eventually might be labelled bipolar III. The only times I have ever become manic were only while taking MAOIs. Otherwise my depression is chronic and unremitting.

If you have had a transient response to Zyprexa, it might be worth trying a low dose of Risperdal (0.5 - 1.5mg) in its place. It tends to have more "staying power" when it works.

I gained 20lbs on Zyprexa. I might take another look at Seroquel, but I don't know what the therapeutic dosage range is when used as an augmentor to treat depression.
