I definitely didn't mean to come across that way-- I'm certainly not expecting any medication to 'fix my life' (though that *is* exactly what clonazepam did). I had to quit my job several weeks ago because it's simply not possible for me to leave the house now. Of course that sort of limits my therapy options. And besides, only one therapist in my area accepts Medicaid (which is an absolute prerequisite), and the guy, IMNSHO, is not at all good at what he does. Of course, I suppose you get what you pay for.
There's certainly little I wouldn't do to avoid the daily medication ritual, but it's just not possible at this juncture.
