Lexapro is a great drug for anxiety. If a person has anxiety only, and not depression, then a lower dose can often be used. I would recommend one of 2 options:

1) keep taking the 10 mg dose for another 2 weeks. A lot of times, the side efects subside after a couple of weeks. If you still feel too tired, then cut the 10 mg to 5 mg.

2) cut down to 5 mg now. Then later, you can raise it back to 10 if you need to.

You can also take it before bedtime if it makes you tired.
