Hi!,
Nardil is absolutely brilliant! Takes a while to fully kick in, though.
I would reccomend several things when you see the doc...

1. Bring in a MAOI diet sheet and tell him it's no prob & you can follow it 100%

2. Tell him you are willing to buy a blood bressure cuff to frequently monitor your blood pressure.

3. Tell him you are willing to get a medic alert braclet to put on your wrist.

4. Tell him you are willing to not take any other medicine while on Nardil that might induce a hyperprexic reaction.

5. In general, be educated & assertive with him. Find out how Nardil works, and let him know this.

If this doesn't work find another doc. I think it would be well worth it.

I would like to state that I have never had any probs with Nardil, and the diet and other restrictions hardly bother me at all. You have to be patient with the s/effects, of course. I have read of people being on it 10+ years with NO probs.

All the best. Any further questions I will answer!.
