Hi Merci,

Welcome.

I had the same experience with Nardil. Unfortunately the highest I could ever go was 45mg, and even that dose adversely affected my sleep in the same way you describe. My body could never adjust to a higher dose, even over time, so I basically stayed at 30mg, upped to 45mg premenstrually, and then down again. It might be better to add an adjunct (lamictal worked best for me, but there are a lot of options) than to continue to fight a losing battle against sleeplessness. The interesting thing was that no matter what time I went to bed, I would wake up exactly three hours later, then on and off the entire night. Couldn't live like that.

Take care,

Shelli
