Drug companies are quite happy to develop a new antidepressant, demonstrate that it's no worse than imipramine, and market like crazy. Witness the number of people being switched to or starting lexapro.

Very good point Britt and you used the perfect illustration. I don't expect any big changes in the near future, although, it would be nice to see more progress with genetic markers, intra-cellular ADs, REAL DX testing, etc.
