I wish I could give you advice, but the best I can do is sympathy. My ten year old daughter has been on antidepressants and Adderall for a few years now and it's always difficult talking to her teachers about why she is withdrawn and moody at times. This year she has an angel of a teacher who is herself on antidepressants. She understands my daughter and tries to minimize the bad days and take advantage of the good ones.

I've been on Wellbutrin for about six years now and have found it to be a good antidepressant. My daughter just recently switched from Zoloft to Lexapro.

Good luck to you and your son.
