Saw your note about WHO's worst-rated drugs. I suggest you go to the following website address:
http://socialaudit.org.uk/4390EU61.htm and you'll see a report from the Uppsala Monitoring Centre, entitled "European perspectives on withdrawal and dependence associated with SSRI antidepressants" It includes a chart that would probably answer your questions. Paroxetine is listed as No. 1, followed by Venlafaxine (Effexor). This chart is equally useful for those who take benzos.
