> or is it specific to men?Drinking while taking an antidepressant is just not a good idea. If you do you are unlikely to drop down dead, but the alcohol is likely to hit you harder, and it may interfere with the antidepressant effect of the medication. So the best advice is not to drink at all.
There is an incidence of anorgasmia (inability to achieve orgasm) of about 2% in women taking Lexapro according to the recent trials, compared to less than 1% with placebo. A low incidence, but there is some risk.
