I read that Effexor would increase blood pressure at higher doses. It increases norepinephrine (noradrenaline). Provigil stimulates the noradrenaline alpha-1 receptor. Maybe the two together increase it too much. Too bad you could not continue on Effexor, but the fact that the dosage had to be increased must have ment that it was loosing effectiveness. Has the Provigil helped with the fatigue?
