nothing wrong with happy

Yes, nothing wrong with happy. Some few lucky normal people can find almost drug-like pleasure in lots of things like looking at a fabric they like or a nice view or petting a dog or whatever. Leads to not getting much work done, I gather.

If you find you are also sleeping less but not missing the sleep, doing way more, thinking rapidly about lots and lots of ideas and plans, spending money or taking physical risks, then you are most likely hypomanic and should call your pdoc about it. Manic is another stage beyond that where you would be really out of control, talking a mile a minute and usually not feeling like needing food, drink or sleep. Or it can turn angry or irritable which is no fun. Of course it is hard to know, oneself, if one is hypomanic since you would slow your speech if you knew your were going fast, so a good indication is to ask someone close whether you are talking faster than usual.

If you've been depressed or dysthymic a long time and a medication is finally working I'd guess its pretty normal to find pleasure in everything when you finally can actually feel it. At least at first while your brain gets used to it. It's been starved.

If it doesn't get more 'normal' in a week or so, consider dropping down on the dose of prozac -- 30 mg might be too much and it might be 20 would be perfect. After all, the best feelings of pleasure are supposed to come from things commonly known to be pleasurable - human interaction, jokes, pretty things, etc. Not usually inanimate objects.

What you describe sounds a bit like folks on ecstasy. Basically serotonin overdose which when really overdone could be toxic. So be careful with it and don't take any other meds that could potentially interact.
