A bit off topic: but is buprenorphine used more by psych docs for depression "nowadays?" does it actually work? or is it a false "high" ? Is it something someone could actually talk to one's psychdoc about and be taken seriously? Or would one be laughed at and/or labled as an drug-seeking depressive addict? Because, I'd love to have a serious conversation with my doc about this use of opioids for treatment resistant depression.
I mean y'all know how weird and hypocritical SOME psychdocs can be. I had one once who went on and on about how he would never in a million years perscribe even one pill of a benzo because of how "terrible and addictive" they are and "everyone becomes on addict on benzos..." and then he proceeded to write me a perscription for two months of Adderall. Talk about crazytalk.
