I have a friend who is Manic-Depressive. She's been doing pretty well over all the last year or so, but she's recently been ramping up into a manic phase. Her doctor noticed it first (I'm not very good at identifying it yet). Just curious what others take when they start entering this phase? Of course the best is to be on stable meds that prohibit the start of a manic phase, but hers don't seem to be that stable yet.
Her doctor prescribed Geodon (starting at 40mg, then increasing to 60mg) to counteract her mania.
She's currently on:
Lamictal (800mg)
Zoloft (50mg)
Wellbutrin (300mg)
Gabitril (12mg)(She has a few other problems besides bipolar.)
