I take a small dose of Zoloft each morning for OCD (25 mgs. a day). It is the only med I have been able to tolerate for OCD. It really cuts down on the obsessing and helps relax me. I have gained at least 15-20 pounds on it, but I figure it is worth it because it helps me so much. I am 34 and female. It does make me somewhat sedated. I tried to take it at night but it didn't seem to work as well. I can feel it kick in after I take it in the morning and it relaxes me. I tried Luvox and Paxil before Zoloft and I found them much too sedating for my taste.
