Definitely the best thing you can do is get to your doctor and tell him/her about this!

I do vaguely remember some tightness in my chest when I was taking Remeron...I'd forgotten about it until I read your post...in fact, I seem to remember that I began taking something for "asthma" at the same time...but perhaps it was the Remeron all along! It's difficult for me to remember anything about the Remeron except for the fact that I "suddenly" gained over 20 lbs in a couple of months.... BTW, it did work very well as an AD, but only for about 8-10 wks. Of course, it's difficult to separate out whether it stopped working or whether the weight gain totally freaked me out....

At any rate, shortness of breath is certainly best addressed by your doc.
