I'm not sure I understand chrons, but can you do a combo approach -- where you take ad's, AND use natural therapies. This is working well for me so far. I have autoimmune thyroid disease.
I would definitely suggest _not_ taking something that you feel will be damaging to you, however. Trust your gut.
If you can afford it, I'd suggest going to a licensed naturopath about this problem. Seeing one really put me on the road to good health when traditional medicine left me empty-handed.
