It's funny that you are talking about guaifenesin, I have a whole bottle of it right in my bathroom. It was prescribed to me after the Ultram gave me allergies. I only took it once and did not notice any pain relief, but Contac was more effective for the allergies. I have read about guaifenesin in about 5 or 10 articles and they seem to say the same thing. It only offers pain relief if taken in extremely high doses, and these high doses usually cause psychiatric disturbances. Or, not much is known. When your neuropathies get to the insanity stage you'll try anything.
