I was into ginseng last year..every day...It really kick started and energised me very deeply...
after three months I decided to take a break and started feeling light headed and unable even to lift my head to look at this screen...I felt like I weighed a ton and could not even move to tell my flatmate ...my bones all seemed to dry up and snap like dried wood...then I had a full out of body experience (usually a sign of impending death) seeing myself lying in my bed...
I would be very carefull with ginseng....I looked up a site where drug and food companies have to report adverse reactions...apart from the shock at reading all the deaths that result from everyday products..I noticed a lot of people had pushed pre-existing health conditions over the edge with hi-energy ginseng drinks..also some people had died from abusing them...and quite a catalouge of horrifying reactions to other availible health store substances...I'm not sure if ginseng is an eastern product but it seem to be today..when I went into a chinese health store to look for remedies and he refused to serve me...saying "not for western man" ..Its hard to know if he was just behaving in a typically eastern manner or had good reasons... the eastern genome is quite different...e.g. they can't metabolise alcohol without adverse reaction to blood flow in the brain...
for all the holistic blah blah of alternitive health remedies..remember the control group is the population with no proper trial that I can see..
