Because of Effexors very short half life, it seems that some individuals are very sensitive to withdrawal effects, particularly the zingy brain feeling. This would happen to me if I was late or missed doses. Then when I finally decided to discontinue I had to wean slowly, otherwise the withrawal effects were pretty severe.
