Hi:
I had similar effects with Elavil. I found Trazadone really to be no problem, and I am *very* sensitive to side effects. It has a very short half-life, which means it doesn't stay in your system that long. I'd honestly say give it a try, as I think it is one of the best meds out there for sleeping/insomnia.
