Hi, Kari.

I don't think Celexa can act as an antipsychotic per se, but people often find that when they take SSRIs they're better able to cope with stress. People who have extreme reactions to stress are often helped by SSRIs. A lot of people become easily angered or startled under stress; maybe your quasi-psychotic reactions are just a different manifestation of the same kind of thing. If so, it would make sense for the Celexa to help.
