> hi. im going to be seeing a psychiatrist pretty soon and i really want to give amisulpride/ sulpride a trial for my lifelonng dysthymia/ social anxiety. problem is, i live in canada and i doubt many psych docs know about this stuff. any body have any tips on how to be nice and all but still get him/ her to respect my request. im 18 so i probably look like i dont know what im talking about.(maybe i dont, heh) but i have alot of hope for these meds and i dont want to spend the next 6 months trying the remainder of the ssri's which i have tied 3 times to many already. thank you

Dear Jonh,

I live in Oregon and have a holistic physician. Do you have a holistic medical association in Canada? I think they might be more agreeable to prescribing off-label and foreign meds. After several years of diet, nutrient, and hormone based treatment, my holistic M.D. prescribed amisulpride at my request... he even asked how to spell it. He just wants me to get better. I have been taking amisulpride for 8 months now, and it has mildly improved my social functioning, but done nothing for my fatigue. My next request will be amisulpride + adderall + memantine.
