DHEA for low testosterone?? » Phil

I've been wondering if DHEA is a possible substitute to help bring testosterone levels back to normal. I may be looking at quitting antidepressants and going just on benzos, and would really like to know if this helps. I have been on Effexor on and off over a few years, and my teststerone levels have come back a bit below normal. This was near the start of my treatment, and I wonder if my levels are even lower now after years of treatment. I tried DHEA before my antidepressant days, and it just had all side effects, no benefit.

BTW..I have a small plastic bottle of testosterone cream, but I have no idea how or where, or how much, to use! Could anyone help me?
Thanx..

Jay
