> I am bipolar and I currently take Lamictal, Remeron and a small dose of Risperdal. My doctor just added Zoloft 3 days ago for OCD/anxiety. The side effects are tolerable. I have noticed though that when I try an anti-OCD SSRI (Paxil, luvox, etc.) that to have it strong enough to get rid of the anxiety/OCD that it then makes me feel like I am in a fog, that it is hard to concentrate, and don't have much in the way of range of emotions. Is this typical? Do these side effects go away in time? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Were you taking Remeron or Risperdal on the last run of SSRIs (Paxil, Luvox)? There are "widgets" in these medicines (Remeron and Risperdal) that may help alleviate the emotional blunting felt from an SSRI.
