Maybe if you're experiencing these things, especially the muscle tension, you should tell your doctor. I think those things might qualify as "less common side effects," and you should tell him/her about it.

I found a big list of side effects for Neurontin here, and saw anxiety, apathy and muscle pain listed as "less common or rare" side effects. Here's the URL:

You could also call the manufacturer, Pfizer. You'll get to speak to a nurse there, and they will follow up with a report they'll mail to you, so they can document these side effects. Here's Pfizer's URL:
