Tomorrow I have an appt with my pdoc to discuss this whole matter. I've heard from other members of this board that the dexedrine that would be prescribed as a pstim is not likely to be much of an appetite suppresant. Have you tried SAM-e? That's supposed to be a dopamine agonist. I do take it, but most of my crazed hunger binges occur around 9-10pm after the SAM-e has worn off.I don't want to take anything too stimulating because I have probably BPII and a definite anxiety component to my depression. Also, my pdoc is very reluctant to prescribe a 'speed' type drug since I've had a bit of - ahem- problem with meth in my younger days.
Anyhow, will keep you all informed. But the exericse is DEFINITELY helping (however, I was too dang sore to do anything today).
