I can totally relate to the feeling of anxiety you experience. My pdoc did not think it was possible to have this side effect with topamax. But all I remember of my topamax trial is severe anxiety and angst. I was wringing my hands all the time...

I am sorry I don't have a good suggestion for you, since I went off the drug to end the constant angst. But a good benzo I am sure would take the edge off. Or perhaps a little Neurontin, which tends to have a calming effect. Have you mentioned this problem to you pdoc?

I hope you find something to help you feel better.
