Gracie, that's just plain sick. What the hell does he think she's going to do with the extra - OD on laxatives. This is in the States, right?
I've never heard anything like this up here in Canada. In fact, I had my pharmacist *gently* chide me (when no one was around) to not wait till the last few pills before I refill my prescription. But then he knows that sometimes the doctor's booked & I can't get in right away, so he'll give me a week's extra till I get my appointment.
Sorry, but if the States is the land of the free, I'm glad I'm not that free.
