The anxiolytic effects are probably quite rapid; the anti-phobic effects take some time. Although MAOIs are thought to be more rapid-acting than most other ADs (some people notice an improvement within days), it can still take 2-4 weeks, or more, to take effect. (Also make sure that you get to an adequate dose -- in my experience, it makes a big difference.)

The last time I was having a tough time between washouts, I rented _a lot_ of movies and bought a few books I had been wanting. Perhaps you can give yourself a gift each day. I hope Nardil works as well for you as it has for me.
