"New and Improved" versions of SSRIs leave a bad taste in my mouth...for lack of better words...basically Forest Labs has taken the *active* isomer and isolated it...Im not falling for it, just as Im not falling for the *new* prozac or *sarafem*...

Forest Labs happens to lose its patent rights in the US for Celexa in 2004...I suspect this is the reason for the launch of escitalopram...which sounds like an exotic spanish version of celexa..but it is just the "S" isomer S-Citalopram
