In reply to EFFEXOR REMERON - A disasterous combination, posted by rjk on January 3, 2002, at 11:16:08

i was on this combo for awhile - i had been given effexor first which worked great for my depression. Remeron was added to try and combet side effects from effexor. I had no problems with the combo at all but a little weight gain from the remeron - unfortunaly the side effects remained so i went off the combination.

> Combining Effexor and Remeron was the worst thing I could have done. I had reasonable succcess with both of them individually, but the combination has blown my brain to bits. My brain is now so sensitive that I have the most extreme reaction to the smallest amount of medication and every day food and drink. I would like to hear from anyone else who has had a problem with this combination of drugs.
