Hi:
You can go much lower than 25mg's, you know. I am not sure if you are taking it in tablet or capsule form.
If in tablet, either get a pill cutter or knife, and halve it. Then, you can go from there and halve that smaller amount, until you are down to a dose you want off of.
If you are on a capsule, go to the pharmacy or a health food store, and buy a bunch of clear empty capsule. Then, again, measure the amounts out to quit.
Best wishes...Jay
> > I have had major problems trying to get off of zoloft. This is my 3rd try and I am finally down to 25 mg. Today was my 2nd day without the 25 mg. and I felt rotten. I had the "brain surges", dizzieness, feeling of exhaustion and downright nasty acting. I got angry and tracked down the phone number for Pfizer (mfger. of zoloft). I ended up filing what Pfizer calls a safety report. The phone number is (800)223-0432. On 12/26, I am to call back to another department, (800)438-1985 to discuss my symptoms and concerns. I am angry that zoloft is handed out with such frequency and disregard for the end result - withdrawal. My doctor was less than helpful in withdrawal suggestions. It was not until I search one day and found this message board. I was so relieved to hear that I was going crazy. Please, please contact Pfizer and file a safety report. The only thing that is going to force them to change their advertising and information dissemination is public outcry. Please, please call them. God bless.
