i don't know about chemicals, but if this makes you feel any better--i had been on prozac 4 months when i got drunk while mestruating and had sex with an extremely unsavory character. i got really confused and thought that he was a good friend of mine, someone i'd slept with before and had a crush on.
he was a squatter.
i think the entire combination--hormones, pills, alcohol adds up to some sort of sleepy turned-on confusion...
i am a drinker on meds and i'll tell you that it is *much, much* easier to blackout now than it was before i was put on an meds.
i hope your friend doesn't make herself too sick over this. it's an experience to be learned from.
