hi cindy. No I have not tried serzone yet. I too am scared to try any other Anti depressants. I have recently tried Moclobemide. A reversible MAOI for 4 days. But it seems to interact with the zyprexa I am currently taking. It makes me extremely tired and sleepy. Enough for me to sleep 15+ hours a day. So I had to stop taking it. Like all the AD's I've tried I am not sure if it was making me feel worse. So I will continue with the zyprexa until I am able to try something else. My next apointment is on Nov 8th. I hope I will be prescribed a mood stabilizer. Hopefully Lamictal. And yes we should keep eachother posted on our progressive since we seem to be dealing with something very similar. Do you by the way have sleeping problems? Since this depression I am getting much more sleep than when I was normal. I would have an active mind and think a lot about various things. Now it's like I'm brain dead and my memory is completely horrible. Though my memory problems could have been made worse by the ECT Which I had 1 month ago. good luck with your meds

I am tired and irritable, but I am only on 50 mg, and my pdoc says I can't really attribute those feelings to the Lamictal yet -- it could just be my normal depression since I am not at a therapeutic dose of Lamictal.

I am hoping to try a mood stabilizer soon but tomorrow I will be getting moclobemide. Can this reversible MAOI help someone with bipolar disorder? Or just like the usual AD's is it only for depression? I am hoping since it's supossed to work very differently from the usual AD's that I will not suffer from a worsening effect.
