My son takes lamictal, and he has had to start very slow due to depakote he has been on for a year. He started at 12.5mg for 2 weeks, then 25mg for two weeks, now we are at 25mg twice a day untill I notify the pdoc about needing an increase, and if so, to what. It has been a long slow road!! My son and I have been home during the titration!! I have not seen allot of mood stability on it yet, dose is too small still- I have seen some improvement,good luck. Evan also had itchiness, it has subsided. We used gold bond lotion. Karen Curtis
