I'm not sure if we're talking about the same thing, but I also heard a commercial on the radio about a new therapy for depression. The name of it is Hapizan. I called the 888 number to get some info. The represenative was really singing the praises of this product. I told him I was interested in this product because what I'm currently taking (Zoloft) makes me feel like a zombie. Of course he had been on Zoloft also and it made him feel the same plus aches and pains. Now that he's been on Hapizen, he feels great and HAPPY ALL THE TIME! Anyway, I asked him what was in it. He said, " All kinds of good stuff. Catnip, Valerian, Amino Acids, etc. I felt that he was very vague about the ingredients and I don't really want to buy something if I don't know what's in it! So, bottom line, it's $79.00 a month. He was a very good salesman, but I'm a bit skeptical. By the way, I did try to look it up on the net with no results. Hpoe this helps! Good luck!

Ok folks!!! Let's add some reality here. This sounds like an herbal preparation. These can help. I use herbs too, at the advise of my pdoc.

"Take Hapizan and be happy all the time?"

Um, yeah, sure.. I just want to be stable. I do not want to be a happy drone who has only the feeling of happiness. I don't want to giggle at my parent's funeral. I would like to have the appropriate emotions for the appropriate situations.

Don't get me wrong. I like being happier on my meds. And I like having my full range of emotions without having them control my life, like before I was in therapy and had no meds.

"he feels great and HAPPY ALL THE TIME!" Anyone claiming this from an herbal supplement must either be lying or they must be on something illegal. That claim just sounds like nonsense.

"Caveat Emptor"
Buyer Beware!

I'm not saying not to try it. I am saying that we all need to be careful of the marketing messages. They always make great claims and they never mention that their med won't work for everyone. As a person who is recovering from Depression and OCD I can be very impressionable when I am under the influence of my illnesses. When I make decisions from that space I make sure that I get a professional opinion so that I do not make it worse.

Take Care!
Simcha
