Thought I'd expand on this thread ... hope that's okay. My pdoc is going to try Lamictal with me next -- I meet with her in a couple of weeks.

I'd love to get general feedback from those of you who have tried, or are currently trying Lamictal. I am very med-sensitive, and treatment resistant -- a bit leary of trying Lamictal, but I need to keep trudging onward!

Thanks,
cindy

> My pdoc told me that Lamictal would decrease my appetite (good news for me, as I've been trying to lose more weight), and it sure does seem to be doing that. The increased appetite I'd had from Zyprexa is gone, and now I rarely even feel hungry. I eat because I know I *have* to (especially for blood sugar regulation), but there is a marked decrease in my appetite. Anyone else out there who's taking Lamictal experience this? Thanks.
