A girlfriend of mine.... she's been taking effexor xr for about a year.
I tried it once.... about 6 months ago, it was the worlds worst drug... FOR ME....so I didn't stay on it.. was only on it for 4 weeks and had 2 months worth of horrible w/drawal. Anyway....it's worked great for my friend.... another example of how everyone is different.
Anyway.... point. My friends PDoc told her at an appt, this morning... that he is weaning her off of effexor and starting her on celexa because effexor is about to be pulled from the market. She's freakin' out cuz she loves the stuff... but sees no reason why her doctor would lie to her. Anyone hear anything?
