I'm back to Zyprexa after a few months trial of Geodon and my sleep patterns have come back to normal within days. I take 7.5 mg after dinner and now can actually sleep for 7 hours. When I wake up, I am up right away but I have built up a certain tolerance to the grogginess that you are feeling. If I remember right you are new to Zyprexa and I would expect that after a few months you will also not feel the morning hangover effects. The weight gain also stopped for me after about 3 months but it's been a pain trying to get it back off.
I hope you give it a little while until the side effects settle down a little bit.
