I had some hair loss on Klonopin, and that was BEFORE I tried a Celexa+Klonopin trial for 12 weeks. (I'm still taking Klonopin.) I know I've heard the same from others about K, and seen it listed as an infrequent side effect. I'm at the age where some hair loss could be expected naturally, but this came on suddenly and the pattern of loss was unusual.

I began taking Propecia, which hasn't really been studied for reversing medication-induced hair loss. At the same time, I also began taking a combo of minerals my pdoc recommended, namely copper+selenium+zinc in specific amounts. (I *believe* zinc was the third one; I don't recall for sure because I now take this as part of a multi-vitamin with lots of other good-for-you vitamins and minerals.)

Regardless, I was skeptical but surprised to find that almost all of the lost hair gradually grew back.

Sorry to say it since women can't take Propecia, but my bets are on the Propecia helping the most. But the mineral combo might be worth a try. I get the amount I need by taking TWO "One-a-Day Over 50" multivitamins daily -- one in the morning and one at night. I'm not over fifty, but so far no one's refused to sell it to me or told me how young I look for my age.
