The general poop is supposed to be that withdrawal from Effexor is so hard because its half life is so short. To help with symptoms they say you should augment with a longer lasting agent for a few days or week--Prozac has a 6 week half life and is considered the best drug to augment with. Run a search here on withdrawal, I think that over the counter flu remedies are also said to be helpful. Good luck.
