>hi janelle- thanx so much 4 taking time to respond to my S.O.S. My wien has taken 2 weeks give or take. 3 days on nothing @ all & I'm a horrible wreck! My gp is obviously not familiar with withdrawl as he couldn't confirm my zaps or satic electrizity feeling in head was from paxil. He sorta shrugged it off & told me he wasn't sure. Change of plans...Shrink is sick & can't see me (1st visit-psychiatrist) on the 5th. Going to reschedule but have 2 wait 3-4 weeks. Still seeing psycologist in the mean time. GP started me on effexor xr today as there was mention of the psychiatrist starting that when they conversed. The cross over via breastmilk is between 5-9% as there has been a study of 3 women who have breastfed during treatment in Canada. GP says that they get concerned @ 10% cross over. In the 3 women that were studied the babies had blood work & the effexor could not be detected in any of the blood work. (The information was obtained by my GP via MOTHERRISK) motherisk on-line - Your source for evidence-based information about the safety or risk of drugs, chemicals and disease during pregnancy and lactation. http://www.motherisk.org/ There's a ph.# to contact directly on the site
