Depression and ADHD Meds

Posted by Roxx on May 29, 2001, at 13:09:54

I'm on Effexor for depression. It helps some with the depression but not as much as I had hoped. With my ADHD, it's at least as bad on the Effexor as off. I'm not as physically hyper, because I have no energy and am sleepy, but my mind still functions at it's worst ADHD level. Wellbutrin felt like it was working but it gave me severe headaches, Prozac worked a little for a little while, Celexa and Serzone didn't work at all. Effexor is the closest I've come to getting help. I am not functioning very well at all, keep loosing jobs from crying and falling apart in front of everybody on some days, on others, it's overwhelming and I just leave. I'm on the verge of being homeless. I've no insurance, the clinic that gives me AD's will not give Ritalin, I had hoped that might be of help for me. Any advice? Thank you, Roxx
