Hi Robin.

Based upon some of the activating effects reported by some people here, I would say that Geodon cannot be ruled out as the cause. Zyprexa, a drug that is some ways similar to Geodon, has been observed to precipitate mania. However, Lamictal has been reported infrequently to induce mania as well. I would be inclined to lower the dosage or discontinue Geodon temporarily to see if these symptoms disappear. If you were OK with Lamictal by itself and became mildly psychotic once Geodon was added, the choice of which to test first is obvious. Is there any chance that you are schizoaffective rather than just bipolar?

Craig, thanks for the link.
