Here's a link. http://www.tpointts.force9.co.uk/en-psych-eur/medicin/med-pharm.htm

Sorry, most of us just don't have that kinda info in our heads, it'd take lotsa time online to get it all consolidated (tho once it WAS, it'd be mighty handy!). Mebbe you could ask Dr Bob to do it for a long-term page on the site...?
If I turn out to have lotsa free time at work today I'll start on it, but ...no promises. :/

I'll get ya started with the few I know, tho. :)

>chemical. I'd be grateful for a real life response vs. a link. Just mentally fried right now. Thanks. Terra

Easy one. :) Selective Seratonin Reuptake Inhibitor. (Once the seratonin is used in your brain, it's USED)

> Effexor: potent inhibitors of neuronal serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake and weak inhibitors of dopamine reuptake. (Personal note: BEWARE, this one seems to take LARGE doses to do what it's supposed to do!)

> Serzone: exerts dual effects on serotonergic neurotransmission through blockade of serotonin type 2 (5HT2) receptors and inhibition of serotonin uptake.
