Hello group,
First post,
I am male and I suffer from Panic/Anxiety disorder. I have had it for probably 20 years but it was not diagnosed until two years ago, when I thought I was dying from an allergic reaction two days in a row at work. NOPE, Panic Attack, quite enjoyable little things, aren't they !
First drug therapy was Zoloft, worked on the anxiety but my libido went down [...] _down_ bad choice of words -:)'
Second drug Manerix, ( can you tell I am a Canadian yet ) great drug, but my anxiety disorder is becoming progressively worse so it was no longer strong enough as of two months ago.
Third drug Serzone, worked on the anxiety, but I am having a little trouble _raising_ the Canadian flag, shall we say.
Fourth drug, on June 10th I shall be going off Serzone and onto Effexor XR.
I know very little about Effexor XR.
Please feel free to fill this empty mind with knowledge. The key is the side effects, SSRI's work on my anxiety, but the sexual side effects are a disaster.
