I find the withdrawl symptoms to be mild when you taper off slowly- even when I've gone off cold turkey i can withstand the socalled "brain shivers" for several days until I get annoyed with them. My brother has never even experienced withdrawl or any side-effects and is back on 75 mg again. Why do I go off it so many times if "I Love Effexor" so much? Because I hope that someday through the right combination of healthfood store supplements, exercise, meditation and normal behaviour I'll beable to go thru life without taking any psychiatric meds again. I would miss those incredible dreams thought!
