Celexa definitely helps some people (it does me) in counteracting the edginess sometimes
produced as a side effect of Wellbutrin. I've taken them together (only 10 mg of Celexa with 300 mg of WB)for the past year and a half, and it's worked pretty well. I too am quitting Celexa however, because of major weight gain. I don't know what's worse: the grumpy moods/short temper that comes with the WB or feeling fat from taking Celexa. There must be something else that can reduce/eliminate the edginess from WB without gaining an easy 20-30 lbs in the process.
LBW> Well, I'm on 30mg of Celexa going down to 20mg next week and possibly will go up on the wellbutrin (been on 100mg in the a.m. for ten days.) I have been edgy, but don't yet know if that was due to PMS or not. Hoping it was, because I don't want to add the celexa back in to help for that because of the weight gain! I will let you all know if I lose some of the weight once totally off the celexa (whether or not I can lose it), and about the social aspects or anti social aspects.
