hopko,
I'm on serzone now, and it is less sedating. However when I first started it, I couldn't get enough sleep! I was always sleepy & dreaming (pun intended) of being cuddled in my bed. =) It worked for me (and I was having terrible anxiety, nightmares & insomnia).

PS: Serzone even caused me to loose a few lbs.

> I agree with your doc. Serzone might work even though it's "cousin" Trazodone did not. And Remeron might work even though the antihistamine did'nt. They are both also good for anxiety. Remeron at a small dose (15 mg) is very good for sleep. But it does make some people gain weight.

If I take antihistamines, such as Benadry at night, I will not sleep at all. Is it possible that this would happen with Remeron, or do I have to just try it and see?
